Belling the cat(系铃于猫) Long ago,there was a big cat in the house.He caught many mice while they were stealing food.One day the mice had a meeting to talk about the way to deal with their common enemy.Some said this,and some said that.At last a young mouse got up,and said that he had a good idea."We could tie a bell around the neck of the cat.Then when he comes near,we can hear the sound of the bell,and run away." Everyone approved of this proposal,but an old wise mouse got up and said,"That is all very well,but who will tie the bell to the cat?" The mice looked at each other,but nobody spoke.从前,一所房子里面有一只大猫,他抓住了很多偷东西的老鼠.一天,老鼠在一起开会商量如何对付他们共同的敌人.会上大家各有各的主张,最后,一只小老鼠站出来说他有一个好主意.“我们可以在猫的脖子上绑一个铃铛,那么如果他来到附近,我们听到铃声就可以马上逃跑.” 大家都赞同这个建议,这时一只聪明的老耗子站出来说：“这的确是个绝妙的主意,但是谁来给猫的脖子上绑铃铛呢?”老鼠们面面相觑,谁也没有说话.寓意:有些事情说起来容易,做起来却很难.

One day a little monkey was playing in a tree near a river.A crocodile saw him and was very happy."Ha,ha,I'll catch him and have a good meal."He said to himself.Then he went up to the monkey and said,"Hi,monkey,would you like some bananas?""Bananas?I'd love to.But where can we get them?"They are on the other side of the river".Then the crocodile began to swim with the monkey on his back.When they got to the middle of the river,the crocodile wanted to eat the monkey.But the monkey had known about that.He said,"Crocodile,I have something more delicious,but it's on the tree.Shall we go back for it?"The crocodile thought it was true and went back to the bank.As soon as they got there ,the monkey ran away without hesitation.And he was safe now.
一天，一只猴子正在树上玩。一条鳄鱼看见了，很高兴。“哈哈，我要抓住他美餐一顿。”他自言自语道。然后他游向猴子说：“你好，猴子，你要些香蕉吗？”“香蕉？我的最爱，但是我们去哪儿才能吃到它呢？”“它们在河对岸”。然后鳄鱼让猴子骑在他背上，一起游了过去。当他们游到河中心的时候，鳄鱼就想吃掉猴子了。但猴子已知道他的目的了。于是他将计就计，说："鳄鱼，我有更好吃的东西告诉你，但它在树上。我们回去吃它好吗？”鳄鱼相信了并游回岸边。他们一到岸，猴子马上毫不犹豫地跑了。他获救了。
