Adsorption of the active Brilliant Blue KN-R by the activated carbon from Rice husk is investigated in this paper to find the best conditions for its decolorization.The adsorptionally kinetical and isothermal studies indicate that the best results of decolorization can be achieved at pH = 2,T = 30 ℃,shaking time t = 180min,with the activated carbon from Rice husk dosage m = 0.11g,and at the concentration C = 300mg / L.The isothermal adsorption process is agreeable with the Langmuir adsorption isothermal equation.Adsorption is favoured with the increase of temperature hence accorded with the pseudo-second order kinetical pattern.
