　　反方的主张应该是——不该训练动物来帮助人类：

动物帮助人类的例子确实不少,如猫抓耗子,狗协助打猎、看家护院,甚至是导盲,但这是利用了其天性,与此同时,人类就必须忍耐猫狗带来的麻烦和找人的是非；而导盲犬的训练耗资巨大,而且只有大约10年的服役期,平均到每年至少要一万元,还不包含日常的喂养费用.

动物被承认是有智力的,但其智力与人类相比,却非常的有限；所以,所谓的帮助也是非常有限的,还经常帮倒忙.

从人道的角度,也不该训练动物来帮助人类；那样是剥夺了动物本来的“生活”和本性；动物就应该生活在如非洲、美洲的国家公园和保护区里,那才是它们自己的生活；我们的干预,意味着不人道.

从生态的角度看,动物也是生态的一环,包括猫狗中的野狗、野猫（半野生的如身边的野猫,以及纯野生的如荒漠猫）；人类破坏的生态已经够多了,别再干预其他动物的生活和生态啦!
