good morning/afternoo/evening everyone/ladies and gentlemen:
firstly,i would like to remind you that the subject of today's speech is about setting goals for life.however,unlike what most of you might think,this is not some platitudinous speech given by some teachers or parents,instead,this is a shareing of one's own experiences in setting the goals for life given by a student who is at about the same age as you.may be you might think this gives you more reason to not to listen to what i'm going to say,and frankly being the person standing on the stage,i have no other or any other reasons to attract your attentions before simply starting on my speech.so i will waste no more time and get directly to the subject of today's topic.(第一段LZ如果觉的太长可以删掉,亦可自己简单的写一个)
without the goals in our life,nothing can be achieved,as there will not be any things that can motivate or spur us to fight and work hard for.in this way,setting goals can be seen as one of the most important thing in our life.however,simply knowing the importance is definitly not enough,we would also need to know the ways or the methods of doing it.upon reading some biography of the success people,i realise the common things about these celebraties in setting their goals are that they all would have a general or ultimate goal,and then,by dividing their life into different stages,to set small goals for each stages however with the same purpose to achieve their ultimate aim.just like what a marathon champion used to share on his winning secret,upon dividing the entire marathon journey into different stages and keep on motivating himself to complete each small stages first before he could have completed the entire journey since the former is much more easier.and through this way,he eventually fulfilled his dream of becoming a olympic champion.
so knowing the importance of setting goals for life is what we all must keep inn our mind,meanwhile always be reminded the ways and methods of achieving so matters the same.hope you all could learn something and get some inspiration from the speech.
