As the modern society develops,it has greatly changed people's lives.With these changes in the world some people are convinced that people are less happy and satisfied than people in the past.Meanwhile,I hold the absolutely different opinion that people in today's world feel considerably delightful and satisfactory due to the following reasons:more chances for a job,more ways of relaxation and more advanced medical facilities which can lead to the longevity of people.
The first reason that I want to put forward is that a great number of companies will be set up for people because of the development of society,and thus more and more people will have more chances to get a better job.They will have more possibilities to do things that they want to do.Therefore,people will feel gain more deceitfulness of those things.
Another essential reason that I am trying to convey is that people will have an increasing number of ways to release themselves,such as do all kinds of physical activities.For example,my grandma used to stay at home,because in her little village there were not any activities for old people at all.Consequently,she and other aged people like her felt so boring and lonely.On the contrary,now my grandma often goes to take part in community activities,such as dance with other aged people.Everytime she went back home,her face has been always filled with smiles.This example makes fully understand why people will feel happier and more contented than people in the past.
Finally,with the rapid development of the modern society,more and more medical facilities have been invented for curing those people who have caused diseases that couldn't cure in the past.The advanced facilities greatly decreased the number of dead people; therefore,people easily live longer and healthier than before.Also,these medical facilities could ease out of pain patients suffered.For instance,my friend Kate had caused a serious disease for a long time,which made her feel painful and helpless,and she was often crying to sleep in the night.This made her family members feel sad and frustrate.Someday,some experts searched a new medicine which can easily cure her decease and with its help she recovered from the pain and came back to school to study with us.From then on she always looks very contented.So people will feel happier than before.
According to what has been discussed,people could lead a happier and more satisfied life in today's world.I believe people will gain more and more happiness in the future.
