Most of us are aware that communication is one of the important and basic ways.I think verbal communication is most important because when we do everything with other people we need to talk with others and no one can work along through his whole life.Even though we know your audience is most important but in the fact,sometimes we do not take into account them.When you know your audience you are able to express thought to let them satisfied.
There are 3 points we need to pay attention.Firstly,you must know who your audience is,Understanding of the audience and what kind of information that your audience want to know.As a lecturer you should pay attention to what?You should pay attention to use your words.For example,if the audiences are children so we can not use high-level vocabulary,but we should use some of the more simple words.Stress the detail that they want and do not tell too many beside of the points.When Abraham Lincoln speaks,the audiences were mesmerizing.At first,he put them to silence mistaken for a rejection of his message.However,as the story said,a listener commented that clap for Lincoln’s speech,as the same as clap for the Lord’s Prayer.
In the second,you need to know your relationships if you are friends you can easily talk and make some joke with them but for strangers,we need to keep some space that make you and your audience fell much better.Lastly,we need to think over everything and special situation because a small thing can affect your condition.
In addition to these points,confidence is also important so you can get you audience nods.If you have confidence you can speak clearly that let everyone understands it and you can do have a good condition to face your audience
