It’s a really funny book,from the book I found the reason why Chinese don’t want to study the Development in oversea.We can see serious prejudice in this field from this book,they always mention China always perform bad in democracy and human rights,and China will face a serious social crisis “Political hard landing” in future!
The conclusion of this book
“Comparing China and India contains many illuminating approaches to the subject of the title,especially focusing on the binary of authoritarianism versus democracy.In comparisons between various aspects of the development of these two mega-nations since the late 1940s,the chapters tend to make the case that,contrary to received wisdom,India’s record compares quite well with China’s,and in some instances surpasses it.Rather than preview those issues,in this introduction I seek to draw attention to some interesting coincidences and,more significantly,differences in the political development of the potential crises.I conclude that in two key arenas,handling succession and dealing with society,India has built better than China”
First of all I don’t like political,but I know at least 98% of Chinese can watch TV about political news.And 95% of them know how to write democracy “Ming Zhu” in Chinese and know it’s meaning.But I don’t know what the situation in India is,and I know most of Chinese speak bad ting about the communist party,but all of them proud of the achievement in every aspects of the Country (including part of political aspect),They will continue make economic success in next 2 decades because China don’t fellow the policy of World Bank according to the Nobel Economic Prize Winner Mr.Stiglitz .
I am respect to all different cultures.I don’t think any party could rule the people control the mind of people,I believe it’s deep spiritual power control the people’s behavior,China have more than 5000 year culture and civilization.China is civilized earlier than most of nations.The culture spirit is the essence of a society.As Chinese,we respect our parents and always remember the lesson they give us.That’s why Chinese could keep stable,Chinese people will continue it for another 1000 years.It couldn’t be done neither by the communist nor by Marxism & Leninism!Chinese people always reintegrate the materialism to Chinese old culture!Even we use same computer like American and European but we still remember the soul of Chinese culture.
“Most expensive thing is Peace” – Yi He Wei Gui !That’s why China is most stable and peaceful place to invest and live!
