Today, most of people do not have to worry about hunger and suffer poverty any more. With advanced economy developing, we become rich and have considerable money to pay for our health since we have realised the benefit of keeping fit. There are two main keys we need to implement in order to keep fit. One is doing more healthy excercises, the other one is having a balanced and scientific diet.
Firstly, what I am trying to say is that there are no excuses for you, or me to do healthy excercises to keep fit. There are so many ways to stay active and fit even when your surroundings are not cooperative. Joining a gym is one of the best investments you can make in terms of your health and overall well-being. It has never been easier. There are health clubs on almost every corner---just be sure you joining a good one with some knowledgeable staffs and a good variety of well-kept equipment including options for both aerobic work and strength training. Remember that balanced fitness includes strength, flexibility and core routines. This is best achieved through cross-training. Doing martial arts, Pilates, and ballet and yoga are other ways to get very fit and have fun as well. If you can not join a gym, there are so many options for home exercise programs. Also, except for really awful weather conditions, there is still a lot that you can do outdoors, such as jogging, swimming, hiking and so on. Doing healthy exercise can be carried out everywhere, it sometimes may depend on whether your have wonderful creativities.
A balanced and scientific diet is based on starchy foods such as bread, rice, and pasta as these are filling not fattening and provide available energy for exercise. Actually starchy food is much better than those which contain a lot of staturated fats inside. They are harmful as they raise the levels of cholesterol in the blood and increase the tendency of the blood to form clots. This can increase the risk of developing heart disease and stroke; therefore foods containing saturated fats should be taken in moderation. Enjoy eating at least five portions of fruit or vegetables daily is also an important instruction we need to follow. In fact, it is true that “An apple a day, keeps doctor away”. Fruit and vegetables contain plenty of nutritious ingredients which are indispensable for us. Furthermore, we shall never eat too much even the dishes are very delicious; or, it will break your stomach and intestine.
There are many ways for us keeping healthy. However, whatevere the method you choose, remember that keeping fit is a long way to go that we cannot give up halfway. Owning a healthy body is our hidden treasure forever.
