physiological effects are a variety of skin maladies,such as dry and rough
skin.These skin alterations can prove to be uncomfortable and painful for some
people.However there is no cure for the disease but,there are a variety of
therapies that can improve a person’s symptoms.There is basic dermatological
therapy that uses oils for the treatment of dry skin to help ease the
scratching and anti-inflammatory therapy which helps to control the disease (IPCS,
1999).
Industrial disease can be found in different forms.
Asbestosis,pneumoconiosis and atopic dermatitis,are only three examples of
the many occupational disease that can have long term health effects on a
person’s life.Unfortunately most of these diseases are incurable and cause a
considerable amount of deaths.Now the worldly population are more aware of
industrial diseases.A variety of things are being done to prevent them,for
example using less of the dangerous materials,and reducing jobs that expose
people to dangerous gases and chemicals.These diseases are being monitored and
strategies are undertaken to prevent them,but there has to be constantvigilance of harmful factors in the workplace.
