如今大学生独生子女越来越多,他们的自我意识较强,不愿受别人的控制,我行我素,这就给教育造成了一定的困难。如何引导他们学习、培养良好的思想品质,树立正确的人生观是摆在教师面前的当务之急。笔者认为,对这些学生不能采用强迫的手段,只能激励他们奋发向上。那么,如何激励学生呢?这里介绍几种激励学生的方式。
一、目标激励
要想使学生能自觉学习,就要让他们树立远大的理想,树立为四个现代化而学习的信心。有了崇高理想,他们学习才有精神动力,才能充分发挥自己的聪明才智,才能自觉地把学习看作自己应该做的事情。古今中外有杰出成就的人,不都是从小就树立远大的理想吗?周恩来在中学时代就立下了“为中华之崛起而读书”的远大抱负,就是这一理想促使他努力学习,最终成为杰出伟人。如果一个人胸无大志,精神空虚,缺乏对社会和国家的义务感、责任感,那么他的发展将是有限、畸形的,没有前途可言。
