In collection with this issue,I think that I can answer it from all aspects of which I can prefer one or be of middlebrow.This issue can be expressed by the examles of movies such as relaxing and humorous comedy movies or scary movies.
After I have completed an arduous work load,and I want relax myself,personally speaking,I would prefer relaxing and delighting movies.Maybe I will enjoy the processes of them and laugh heartily.And according to the science research,thus movies can strengthen people's immunity.Personally speaking,I feel good.
Of course,what I am saying is not to watch thoes movies which will make us uncomfortable.When I am with my girlfriend,we will watch the scary movies.I have my own purpose surely.

For this question, I think there are many different ways to answer it. It can side with one side, or take no sides. We can approch it by using movies, for example comedies or horror movie.
For me, when I complete a difficult task, and in need of relaxation,I would prefer watching a hilarous comedy. I enjoy laughing in the process of watching the movie. According to scientific research, comedies will boost the inmune system, and for me, it allows me to feel good.
Of course, it does not mean that I will not watch movies that causes uncomfort. When with my girlfriend, such genre of movies is what we will choose, as it serves a purpose.
I think no matter what, we should do things as we will. We have different needs when we do different things, causing such things to happen. This is logical in the context of philosophy.
