The Baltimore Aircoil Company’s line of ACT Series cross-flow,induced-draft cooling towers,as described in your original application and subsequent revisions through September 26,2011 has satisfactorily fulfilled the requirements for certification of thermal performance by the Cooling Technology Institute (CTI),as set forth in the CTI Certification Standard STD-201(11).A listing of the eighty-two (82) primary models of the ACT Series Cooling Towers encompassed by this certification is included with this letter for reference.Multiple cell arrangements of these primary models are also certified.The thermal performance of each single cell model is specified in the BAC Selection Software and in the BAC Capacity Tables.This certification also includes several accessories and construction options,some of which affect the thermal performance of the basic model.The presence of any of these options which affect thermal performance is indicated by a unique alpha suffix to the base model number.The type of modification or accessory,whether or not it affects the thermal performance of the basic cell,and where applicable,the unique alpha descriptor for it,are listed in the attached table.The magnitude of the performance change associated with any given accessory or modification can be determined from the Optional Accessories and Constructions Table (page 2) or the BAC Selection Software and in the BAC Capacity Tables.
The BAC line of ACT Series cooling towers has been previously assigned CTI and
should continue to use Certification Validation Number 08-11-12.You are hereby authorized
and encouraged to display the CTI Certification Logo in all pertinent literature and are required to affix the CTI Certification Label on all towers comprising the line,as provided in the Certification Standard
