Some young adults want independence from their parents as soon as possible.Other adults prefer to live with their families for a longer time.Which of these situations do you think is better?Use specific reasons and examples to support your opinion.
Take Independence as Treasure
For some unmature youngsters,independence may be the worst nightmare for them.They try to defend themselves by arguing that independence is a passive and miserable thing,why should someone ask for it even before it is possibe to stay at the safe dock of their families.In my opinion,however,independence is such a precious treasure that the earlier you get it,the more you will benefit from it,as long as you can survive this competitive modern world.
All mature human will admit that,as an individual in a competitive world,everyone owes a piece of unreplaceable responsibility to him or herself.We got family protection at a young age because we were then too vulnerable to sustain the pressure from the real world; and we learned a lot of skills--which could lead us to success one day--from our families while growing up.However,we learn those to entitle independence to us,not to enable us to find reasons for hiding behined.How could human proceed or achieve in this negative way?If a person understands the importance of independence,he or she will accept independence more voluntarily.
What’s more,independence is a necessary process and the ultimate result for a qualified human being.In other words,all of us have to welcome the advert of independence some day,whether you like it or not.Why?Because we could not be covered by family protection forever.Family is a continuously developing process,which means you could be swept by the worldly torrents if not prepared well.At least,one has to consider the next generation and further.Otherwise,he or she will not be a qualified citizen.
Now,since we have understood both the responsibility and necessity to accept independence,why not cherish independence and ask for it as soon as possible?Independece is a practical process and it requires a lot skills which could only be learned in reality.After all,as ancient people have put forword,life is a knowledgable teacher.Let us face the fact that life is short and limited; in this sense,the earlier you begin,the more you will learn.
To sum up,it is both necessary and beneficial for young adults to take on their own loads and to act their leading roles in society.Only when they begin to cherish independence and take it as treasue,could they be a real adult.
