楼主估计看过全文，文章是从一个十五个月大的小女孩把那个GOLDEN STATETTE 打碎了的故事说起的。上面这段文字后面有一句子：So in the euphoria after their triumph, you can understand why they'd be a little careless.在这个句子前面也就是楼主发布的这段文字 其实都是应该为这个 Triumph 做铺垫，正是是这是一个Triumph导致了后面的CARELESS.
说明这个Triumph 不是一般的胜利。
1.that went into your labor of love. golden statuette 是对自己工作的diligence, craftsmanship 的肯定，以及对自己心甘情愿无怨无悔所从事的劳动成果的 artistry 的一个confirmation 。仔细分析你会发现diligence, craftsmanship 是对人的一个描述，但是artistry这个词一般是用来修饰物的，所以肯定要用一个修饰物的定语或定语从句与它连用，故加了that went into your labor of love这一句话。
2. who had to fight to find financing and then had to stage a rather dramatic come-from-behind victory to emerge as the big winner Oscar night on February 27.
had to 这里就应该翻译为“必须，不得不”-他不得不去尽全力筹集资金。 说明他拍这个片的时候，开始时是碰到很多困难的。然后then这一句和前面had to fight to find finacing是并列的，烘托了制片人 开始遇到 怎么怎么的苦难 然后 必须要出现戏剧性的 反败为胜 并成为为奥斯卡赢家出现的 一个决心。 所以才会有后面的 兴奋过度，才有那个CARELESS.
