The first time when I got the table time.To my surprise,I found that there are no subjects about liberal art on it.I just found anatomy,biology and nursing care.I even could not find some about medical history.
I think that you must encounter this kind of situation.When you wanted to mention one of famous Chinese people,but your foreign teacher does not know him.Or when your foreign teacher talked about significant people of American,but you don’t know.Many of us want to have a good communication with our foreign teacher,so we practice our English.We practice it during class; we practice it after class.Actually,we get some progress in English,but we feel that it still hard to communicate with our foreign teacher.We cannot communicate with them like to communicate with our roommates.Why,Why we can’t?Because our foreign teacher and we are live different culture.We are not familiar with their culture.So are they.
If we have a subject called “culture”,we would know more about each other.Think about this,if we could talk about obama with them like talking about weng jia bao with them.How wonderful it is!
Culture for both of us is very important thing.I need to learn it,you need to learn it,all of us need to learn it.So If I were given an opportunity to make one significant change in our school,I hope everyone could learn more culture.
