if i must make a choice between the two,i'd like to choose the latter.
nowadays most people-except those workaholics,who live for work-work for lives,we must make sure that our company can stay alive in the comtemperory society which is full of competitions.no doubt a kind boss who keeps smiling all day will make everyone cozy,but his inefficiecy will apparently leads the company to death.

I would like to work for a boss who is efficient but very strict with the employees. This is because an efficient boss is best for the company. He/she can get the tasks done correctly and on time. Also I like a boss who is well organized and effective. That way our department will have the best performance and no one will have to work overtime.
